v Advised the Joint Distribution
Committee (JDC) on how to improve the impact of their work in which
young
people volunteer for societal benefit and gain civil leadership skills.
Ø Provided ongoing consulting,
development of policy papers, worked collaboratively with regional
manager to
pilot innovative work and staff training. This JDC program influences
tens of
thousands of youth across 50 cities and those they help.
v Managed volunteering for 300 Ethiopian-Israeli
University students for the Ethiopian National Project. In addition,
created two
day-long conferences to engage these students in social-issues based on
volunteerism and leadership.
Ø Developed policies, systems and
protocols to develop and manage the program. Developed a policy paper
to
upgrade the program based on a finely-textured mapping of needs and
analysis of
program design. In 2008, we are seeking to establish a newly designed
leadership development program with the ENP.
v Provided consultation and capacity
building assistance to help Shomera Lsviva Tova better realize their
mission of
engaging national-religious, Haredi, at-risk youth and other
populations in
environmental activism, education and community building.
Ongoing
capacity building consulting and training that
assists the organization impact hundreds of clients and thousands of
secondary
beneficiaries.
