As well as working for social justice in Israel,
you can participate in international development work in India - the best
of both worlds. LIFE is a high-quality, unparalleled way to build your capacity
as a change maker and to strengthen you career path.
LIFE is a nine
month long, Israel
based service-learning
program for Jewish University graduates and their Israeli peers. It includes a four-month
stay in India.The exceptional individuals who participate in
LIFE directly help people who live in poverty, are at risk or who suffer from lack
of opportunities to realize their basic rights. Yet LIFE participants not only benefit from almost a year of extraordinary personal and professional development
opportunities. They deepen their personal vision for Tikkun Olam ('repairing the world') and are equipped with the knowledge, insight and skills to address social problems as an integral part of who they are, what they do and how they live. LIFE inspires and enables a lifetime of vision-driven leadership, as a professional
in Jewish or not-for-profit settings, lay leader, activist, academic,
journalist, politician, corporate responsibility leader, social
entrepreneur, artist, policy expert and more.
